What happens when my horse or equipment is stolen?
What happens when my horse is stolen?
If your horse is registered with Horsepatrol
-
CALL THE POLICE
-
GET YOUR CRIME NUMBER
-
CALL US
We will then get the ball rolling and send out alerts to all registered members and our database of equestrian outlets all over the UK.
Through our own personal experience we know the feeling of devastation and loss. The panic and despair is indescribable.
Registering your horse with HORSE PATROL will enable us to help you. The help that is so desperately needed in the Equestrian world.
A photo of your horse seen countrywide, instantaneously, will make selling on your horse in England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales virtually impossible.
What happens when my tack, lorry or trailer is stolen?
Sadly, most of us in the equestrian world have had, at some time, that heartbroken feeling. The sheer anger of losing our favourite saddle or sentimental tack from our past friends'.
First you call the police, sometimes they only give a crime number over the phone, then if you are lucky enough to have insurance you call your insurance company, then you start ringing around.
By joining HORSE PATROL, if you have registered your horse before the theft, we will list your stolen items on our news page, and then send an email to all members on our huge database of equestrian outlets across the UK for all of us to keep a look out. Many of us attend auctions countrywide so we can all be vigilant and maybe (who knows) start finding our tack which seems to disappear!
